Lineup of Female Artists for ‘CIRCLE CHART Music Awards 2022’ Finalized: A Who’s Who of 4th-Gen Idols

The lineup of female artists who will be appearing on the ‘CIRCLE CHART (previously Gaonchart) Music Awards 2022’ has been announced.

The CIRCLE CHART Music Awards organizing committee has announced that “As of present, the following artists (in alphabetical order) are confirmed to make an appearance at the CIRCLE CHART Music Awards 2022: aespa, Kep1er, NMIXX, STAYC, YENA, and MIYEON ((G)I-DLE).”

First of all, aespa are now into their 3rd consecutive year with CIRCLE CHART Music Awards. As the winners of 2020’s Rookie of the Year and 2021’s World Rookie Award, all eyes are on which award they will be receiving this year.

STAYC will be making their 2nd consecutive appearance on the Awards. In 2021’s 11th Gaonchart Music Awards, they won the Discovery of the Year: Hot Trend category while member Sieun was among the MCs.

YENA, who kicked off her solo career in January 2022, has already appeared 3 times on the Awards, albeit as a member of IZ*ONE. This year marks her first solo appearance. Ready to brew up a storm with her flamboyant solo outfit, her performance at the CIRCLE CHART Music Awards 2022 will surely be one to look out for.

Kep1er and NMIXX, who both debuted in 2022, will be making their first appearance in the CIRCLE CHART Music Awards. Given the busy 2022 they had, the performances they will be giving are much anticipated.

Finally, MIYEON (of (G)I-DLE) will also be performing. Having made a successful solo debut in 2022, she has also been busy in acting, variety entertainment, as well as other fields. She will have something special in store for this year’s CIRCLE CHART Music Awards.

Meanwhile in July 2022, Korea’s premier pop music chart ‘gaonchart’ rebranded as ‘CIRCLE CHART’ and launched the Global K-pop chart which draws from K-pop data from all over the world. In step with this change, the previous ‘Gaonchart Music Awards’ has been fully renovated as the ‘CIRCLE CHART Music Awards’ for a global audience. Powered by fair and accurate chart data, CIRCLE CHART now looks to its 12th year of keeping record of K-pop history.

The newly renamed ‘CIRCLE CHART Music Awards 2022’ will be held at 6PM on February 18th, at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena (KSPO DOME). The lineup of male artists is soon to be announced.
